I love to use commercial hair
because it is an easy way to change my look instantly. However, maintaining the
daily upkeep of my hair is very important to me. Just because I decide to use
commercial hair, I never slack off on keeping my scalp moisturized and
clean. I was recommended by my stylist to purchase premium commercial hair and once I looked at the price; I was not too
happy to hand over $200 plus for 8oz of hair. But I did it (since I do believe
in what my stylist tell me)! I can say she hasn’t failed me yet! However, what I realized is that even though I
spent $240 on 8oz of hair, I was actually saving money! How so? Well because I spent on average for
2 packs of hair for $65 and I purchased this hair at least every 4 weeks (sometimes more, if I changed my hair style).
I found that if I took care of my investment ($240) I could use this hair for at least 6 months. Now I only have
to purchase 2x out of the year which equals to $480 (including shipping and overnight … yes, yes I know , It could be lower but if you are like me, you
forget and have to pay for overnight shipping, so I just included it anyway*).. Now compared to $780-$480=$300 difference. Now that is a savings. Now if I had
planned a little better and did not use overnight, I could have saved an extra $40.
